Policy

The Board of Education wishes to ensure that the Fort McMurray Public School District and its employees are in compliance with the spirit and letter of the Provincial law respecting freedom of information and protection of privacy. Therefore the Board appoints the Associate of Business and Finance as the officer responsible for ensuring that the law is appropriately applied, in keeping with interpretations provided through government legislation and regulations. Further the Board expects that all compliance directives issued to employees will be codified in the form of regulations.
