School Profile

Dr. Clark is the only Kindergarten to Grade 8 public school serving the needs of the downtown core. We have a student population of approximately 540 students each year. We have a rich, diverse cultural population that is a focus for many of our school celebrations. There are two District Programs that reside in our school - Junior Skills and Intermediate Skills.

We offer a variety of programs to assist students in becoming more successful. These programs include Learning Assistance, Teacher-Librarian, Native Education, Mentorship, Counselling, Conflict Management, School Social Worker, and Hot Lunch Program. We offer an integrated model of service delivery and as a result we have developed strong ties with Alberta Social Services, The Commissioner of Services for Children and Families, Alberta Justice, Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Nistawoyou Friendship Centre, Students Assisting Students Program, R.C.M.P. and The Wood Buffalo Youth Association.
