She

culture. Her ancestors were from Africa. Acaraje is made with black-eyed peas, fried in red palm oil, and stuffed
with dried shrimp. I loved it! It is special to the Bahia state.
A lot of people sell food at street stalls. When she is done working, she takes the whole stall home with her.
