Many
of the old buildings in Brazil look Portuguese. They were built by people who
had moved to Brazil from Portugal, a long time ago. They built them in the style
they were familiar with in Portugal. I loved the tall windows and the fancy
balconies on the old buildings. Many modern buildings look like apartment
buildings and skyscrapers anywhere in the world.
