Second Chance School offers a blend of assisted self-help instruction which uses Alberta District Learning programs. Credits received through Second Chance are recognized as Alberta Learning credits and count towards a high school diploma. Students must be between the ages of 15 and 19 and be registered in Grade 10, 11 or 12 and be recommended for the program. Students are required to attend 4 – two - hour sessions per week. Hours of operation for students are Monday to Wednesday from 8: 00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The school is closed for the month of July and will  reopen in August for drop off and pick up and for students wishing to write exams.

Students interested in registering must see their school counselor to complete a release form and to obtain a copy of marks and credits.
